en, but I didn't freak out. When we picked her up it went down some and I decided to just wait until the next day (Monday) to see how it looked. OMG!! Her left eye was a little bit swollen, but the right eye looked like she'd been in a baby brawl! Her eye was almost swollen shut. It was so bad I wanted to cry! At this point, we were definitely going to the doctor's office.I patiently waited for 8am to get here so I could call the doctor. Luckily they answered and told me to bring her right in. By the time we got there, here eye didn't look as bad, but the doctor did say he believes its mainly allergies. She was prescribed some eye drops (ciprofloxacin ophthalmic solution) just in case there's a slight infection and told me to go get some children's Benadryl (1/4 teaspoon) to give to her as needed. As long as I have something to work with I'm good. So I give her the Benadryl and hope for the best. I picked her up from day care and her left eye finally looks fine. The right eye, still a little swollen. I just gave her the eye drops and Benadryl. Was hoping to wash her hair tonight but she wanted to go to sleep.
Hopefully tomorrow morning it won't look like it does in the picture. Even though she was only able to see out of one eye, she's still walking around getting into everything. I'll keep you posted on the eye and videos of her walking are coming soon!
